URL Attributes provide a very flexible way to group URLs for any purpose such as their similarity or grouping. The attribution is useful for workflow as well as reporting and analysis. Many of the reports inside Audience Key can be segmented by URL Attribute.
Some examples of how URL attributes can leveraged: Group URLs by persona, marketing funnel type, author, product attribute.
To create a new URL Attribute:
Quick Add:
- Click on Modifications > Create URL Attribute to open the Create URL Attribute window
- Enter the name of the URL Attribute and indicate if you want it to be active immediately by selecting Yes.
- Click the Save button to finish creating the attribute
Manage & Edit All URL Attributes:
Go to the URL Attributes management screen where you can create/update/delete

Assigning URLs to a URL Attribute
- From the URL Census, select any URLs that you wish to update.
- Click on the Bulk Update
- Under Attributes, select add or remove to update the association of the selected urls to the attribute.
Notes
- To manage URL Attributes (delete, rename, create new, etc) go to: Settings > URL Attributes.
- Once a new URL Attribute is created select the URLs you wish to assign to it by selecting the URLs and then clicking on Bulk Update button
